Privacy without blocking the light
Some glass needs privacy but not darkness — a bathroom, a front-door sidelight, a street-facing room, an office that feels like a fishbowl. Frosted and privacy films obscure the view while letting daylight through, so the space stays bright and feels finished rather than covered up.
Types of privacy film
- Frosted and etched — even, all-day obscurity for bathrooms and doors
- Gradient — privacy at sitting or standing height with a clear band above or below
- Patterned and custom-cut — designs, bands, or logos for offices and feature glass
- Reflective one-way — daytime privacy that also cuts some heat
Where it fits
- Bathrooms and powder rooms
- Front doors, sidelights, and garage-door windows
- Ground-floor and street-facing rooms
- Office glass walls, boardrooms, and reception areas
- Clinics, studios, and salons
Day vs. night privacy
This matters and we’re upfront about it: frosted and etched films obscure detail around the clock. One-way reflective film, on the other hand, depends on light balance — it works during the day, but once your indoor lights are brighter than outside, the effect can reverse. If 24-hour privacy is the goal, frosted is the safer call.
