Security & Safety Film
Safety and security film that holds glass together on impact — slowing break-ins and reducing injury from shattered glass.
Tougher glass, safer spaces
Security and safety film bonds to the glass and helps hold it together when it’s struck — slowing a forced entry, keeping a shattered pane in its frame, and reducing the danger of flying shards. It’s a common upgrade for ground-floor windows, exposed doors, and storefronts where the glass is the weak point.
Where it’s reviewed most
- Storefronts and commercial entry glass
- Ground-floor and basement windows
- Side and back doors that are out of sight
- New-build homes adding safety glazing
- Panes where impact or break-in delay is a concern
What security film really does — and doesn’t
We won’t oversell this: security film is not invisible armor and it does not make glass unbreakable. What it does is hold broken glass together and slow down access. How well it performs depends on the film thickness, the glass type, the frame, the quality of the install, and whether an attachment system anchors the film to the frame. For higher-risk glass we’ll review the frame and recommend attachment where it’s warranted.
Security film is often combined with solar or privacy film on the same glass. Get a free quote — send a photo of the window or door edge and we’ll tell you what fits.
